My name is Marty, I live in California, I don't shoot digital photography. I use a Minolta SRT-202 witha 35mm lens and a Gemini Skyline telephoto lens 55mm (75-205). Some shots are actually old digital photos I found, with a point and shoot Olympus camera when I first got into photography. Most of the Monterey/Fog/Crystal Cathedral shots are taken with this. A lot of the Oyster Bay sky shots are taken with this point and shoot digital camera (The Sky Opens and Waiting for the Sun most notably).
I studied photography for about a year, slightly less actually, the rest I learned from just doing it. I am an ambient music composer, if you want to hear that, let me know.
I take pride in the oddities and imperfections of some of my photos, because it expresses the imperfections of the artist and of humans. Nothing is perfect, and so a little dust here, a little blown out sky there, I like it.
And yes, I forgot to take off the white borders/sides that some of my photos have. And yes, I'm too lazy to fix it. And no, I don't care.

I noticed you use a Minolta; I'm currently working on learning how to use one myself. I believe the one you have is quite old as well though?
Well, either way you take very nice pictures.

The reason people find it so hard to be happy is that they always see the past better than it was, the present worse than it is, and the future less resolved than it will be.
